Omar Kamara

Omar is a former public school teacher whose desire to uplift and inspire his community led to him start to business building. Omar firmly believes in the community's ability to be self- sufficient, and finds that a community that cannot feed itself will forever remain reliant on another.

For that reason he began a non-profit in the Roseland, Chicago neighborhood that sustains a garden and beekeeping. He is looking to expand his operation into Austin utilizing the property he owns within the AV 72 corridor.

Amara C. Enyia

Amara C. Enyia serves as the CEO of ACE Municipal Partners LLC, a full service municipal consulting firm that works with small and mid-sized cities in the Chicagoland, Central America, South America and Africa. Dr. Enyia leverages years in municipal government experience in several policy areas including :economic development, education, public safety, housing, food security and food access, community development, and public/private partnership structuring.

She has worked as an education researcher and evaluator, led a non-profit organization, and worked extensively in the advanced manufacturing sector.
